Nu REPUBLIC STARBOY 2

     Nu  Republic one of the revolutionary headphone company and most important it's an emerging Indian Brand.  We are going to see about my personal usage and my review on Nu Republic's headphone Nu Republic Starboy 2, it has good Erganomic design and comfortale on wearing over our head and to mention it has wireless Bluetooth connectivity, and it can be connected to three or more devices no frequency problem will occur.

DESIGN

     Firstly the design and colour it's looking more SPORTIVE and simple and mainly DURABLE.  It's FLEXIBLE design and ear cups finish is matte style finish, glossy gold colour over the ear cups and ear cups can rotate about 180 deg.  It is over ear fit and covers full ear lobe giving you a comfortable hearing experience and it has in built controls has 3 buttons.  Headphones also provided with aux cable connection in case of battery level low or drained we can change our WIRELESS headphones into WIRED headphones.  It also comes with inbuilt mic.  As the headphones are light-weight and provides good comfort for ears it can be used for a long period of time, and the leather on the ear cups gives you extra sturdiness and comfort feel.

 BATTERY LIFE & CHARGING

     Nu Repubic Starboy 2 headphones comes with a huge battery life of 16 to 18 hours and we can use for long trips. Charging hours ranging from 2.5 to 3 hours we can fully charge and works about  15 hours.  Battery type is lithium polymer and has battery capacity of 200 mAh.  It comes with USB charging cable.       

OPERATION AND OTHER FEATURES

     Nu Republic starboy 2 has a high-resolution sound experience and has good bass we can switch over from normal mode to X-bass mode were the users can experience bass boosted music.  It has 40mm neodymium drivers so that we can experience unparalleled sound clarity and precision.

    It has 2 buttons for controlling volumes and if pressed for a long time music tracks can be changed.  Volume up button is the same button for next track if we long press and volume down button is the same button for previous track if we long press.  Play, Pause, and long pressing the same button for Bluetooth connectivity button.  We can use this headphones for calling purposes also, the Bluetooth connectivity button acts as pick up/hang up button.  The built-in mic is good cancels environment noises about 80%.  We can get notified by voice assistant whenever we change tracks, turning up the volume, even managing calls. 

    Bluetooth range is same as that for other Bluetooth headphones 10m, but if we connect on laptops(laptops with Bluetooth chip provided in motherboard) without Bluetooth adapter has Bluetooth range of 5m.  It is also compatible with Android, Windows and iOS devices.  It gives us a immersive music experience and also great for gaming and streaming purposes.

   Sound leakage is less and effective delivery of Powerful Bass is all because of the leather foam enriched earcups cushion which provides this immense performance, due to this it beats zebronics and boat headsets at this price range.  Added advantage it can be also accessed as wired headphones when we connect aux cable to it but the sound quality slightly declines by 10%.  Due to leather foam finish in earcups it does not hurt your ear lobes and feels somewhat luxurious.  It can be also switched to bass mode which it is provided by sliding button.     

PRICING AND VERDICT

   Nu Republic Starboy 2 Pricing ranges from Rs.1300 to 1500.  It is cheap and best in this range and beats it competitors like Zebronics, pTron, ZinQ and its performance is comparable to bOAt and Noise Brands.  Its worth a buy and also has a 1 year warranty, one and only negative shade is that it has only one service centre for whole India that is situated in  Gurgoan, Haryana, and yes it is an Indian brand.  As it becomes famous they tend to open service centres in metropolitian cities like banglaore,chennai,hyderabad.  The only way to obtain warranty is that we have to courier our product to them.  But it is Indian brand lets support them 😇...
